Carless: Someone who doesn't own a motor vehicle
Well, in my case, I ditched my car.
It all started when I live out of the campus area in my 2nd semester and the public bus is a convenient transportation but lets get real, driving a car is way better especially when you're late to class. (Psst, another alternative is to just skip class... jk!)
I'm currently on my 4th semester of ACCA and I applied for the uni dorms. I'm so glad I got accepted and class is just 5 minutes away by walking. This also means I've no reason to keep my Myvi car with me because obviously classes, sources for food and other basic needs are all accessible by walking. Thus, with a heavy heart and teary eyes, we parted ways; I went to Shah Alam by train leaving my car behind, sobs. Haha.
I wanted to write on how my February went as it's my first month without my car, but, I kind of forgot what I did. Like seriously. So here's a few pictures on things I did recently that I could remember. Thank god I managed to save these images on my camera roll.
I had Sakae Sushi with Soph at Sunway Pyramid for lunch. Right after that, twins, Huda, Sufi & I went to the UiTM's stadium to watch a football match. Why? We're collecting the dorm coupons hoping we will have a higher chance to stay in the Uni dorm on the next semester. We went back to our rooms with wet clothes as it was raining during the match. I'm typing this with a minor headache and this 'rempuh hujan' thingy might be the cause of the headache. Grr, anyway, we went for dinner at a western restaurant for dinner after cleaning ourselves up.
Now, on to my favorite part, going back home. During the times when my car and I were still united, I always drive back home right after my last class on the weekdays; which happens to fall on a Thursday. So yeah, it feels great to spend my time at home on the weekend plus a full Friday and half of Thursday. Moving on to my story, I took an Uber from to the train station and started my 3 hours journey back to my favorite place on earth, home.
And that is all.
I'm looking forward to a very organized March in terms of managing my financial and mid semester break is just around the corner! Can't wait to be free from classes and Uni dorm for a week. But at the same time, I really hope I'll catch up with my studies because life is still a race. If you take a break, you'll ended up a loser; like the rabbit in the race between itself and the tortoise.
