10/15/2015 0 Comments Eleanor and Park (Book Review!)Hi anyone who's reading! On this post, I am going to do a review on a book I've just bought and finished reading titled 'Eleanor and Park'.
Yes, Park is a (half) Korean; his mom is while his dad is an American. He is described as this cute, fair guy who frequently wears black clothes with simple wording on it. Eleanor is a red hair girl (which remind of Clary, from 'The Mortal Instrument' edition books, lol). Eleanor is also chubby, wears weird clothes that stands out. Her life is described as misreable, her parents are divorced, she currently has a stepdad and everything is not going well. That is until she met Park. Well I am not going to do a summary on the book, of course. But I wanted to justify why this book is quite different from other teen love story theme books. They met in a bus bcs they go to and from school by the bus. And their journey in getting to know each other starts there. A lot of things happen in the bus. For example, Park and Eleanor didn't get along at first. Eleanor kept glancing towards whatever Park's reading (his comic books!); and Park noticed so he tried to read slower so Eleanor could read it too. Their bus journey continues for half the book or maybe more until the setting proceeds to them hanging around at Park's house. Then Eleanor getting to know his parents and such. The ending; well you have to read it and get frustrated because that is how I felt. Aint going to tell you why I felt that way. But this is one of the books that I really recommend you to read!

10/9/2015 0 Comments Half A Day With Jiet ErnThe last time I saw this girl was last year, March 2014 when we went to school to get our SPM's results. At that time, I didn't feel nervous because I've gotten my result through a text. So, I went to school somehow in a calm way but I was still excited to see my friends.
But I'm not going to blog about the surrounding during the result day. In the first place, I was actually trying to share that result's day was actually the last time I talked to one of my closest friend, Jiet Ern. From my perspective, Jiet Ern and I share this weird bond on how we're both so similar because we are serious on the minor issues. During our school days, Jiet ern is the kind of girl who'll oppose when I desperately wanted to buy that RM1 keropok. I'm pretty sure she'll give at least 6 reasons on why I shouldn't buy. (But now, look at her food post on Instagram, it's filled with expensive food's pictures ). She used to be a very hard working, bet she still is, even tho she's denying it now. So, a few days ago, Jiet Ern and I met up at Coffee and Dreams, Uptown S2 and believe me, it felt wonderful because she brightens up my day in a different way that made me realized, I miss her. We talked for hours and ate a lot. We both were quite shock when we got our bills. Pretty sure the both of us cried internally because we spend way too much on lunch and for our dessert treat. (Btw, if you drop by at this cafe, I really recommend you to try the Chocolate Crepe cake!) Our conversation was battling with the time but I think we won. Lol I'm not even sure whether that's a proper sentence. We managed to talk in every aspect: our studies, life, new friends, guy crush(lol) and so on. By the way, if you are reading this, I actually wanted to compliment your hair but I forgot because we were talking non stop. So here it goes, I really love your hairstyle. It looks new somehow, lol. Hoping to have another meet up with you before this year ends! 10/9/2015 1 Comment Half A Day With Syamira9th October 2015 Friday After a hectic month of stepping down from APAcS and last minute studying for my F6's progress test, it's time for me to hang out and to spend a bit of my money, hehe. Syamira(also known is Mira) and I hung out at Sunway Pyramid because that is actually one of the closest mall to our studying place. Of course, any girls who went out to window shop will ended up buying something, well as for me, I ended up buying quite a few stuff. Firstly we went window shopping at the highest level; saw some indonesians buying a lot of clothes from Padini, like they were literally carrying at least 9 paper bags from Padini. #shoppinggoals lol. Then we ate at I cant remember the name... something grill.. Chicken(?) grill? burger(?) grill? Uhm I really forgot the name of the food place cs actually Syamira wanted to try it out and I just follow along. Oh and trust me, it's definitely worth it! The burger is quite big, delicious and the price is reasonable! We ate 2 burgers with a soft drink that could be refilled for only RM30! Roughly we paid RM15 each! Now this place is worth the money and the time! We totally had an enjoyable time eating the burgers! Okay so that is the END of our day. Now these next few pictures are going to be on what I bought. Without thinking. But it's... worth it(?) 10/5/2015 1 Comment The End of APAcS 14/15I joined this association which is well known among the professional students as APAcS (Association of Professional Accounting Students) last year through a fellowship program.
We started on early October but I was still blurry with my task. All I know is my position as a 'Vice Secretary' requires me to type, a lot. But I was a bit wrong. Anyway, a year had passed, we had our ups and downs, disagreement and those exciting memories that will never leave our hearts. I realized that the bond between us strengthen everyday. It is nice to know that in a way, we'll always have each others' backs. That is if we're not busy with our personal life. Here's to no more late meetings, letters, reports, writing the minute meeting, buying CPA cards and having a headache because of the students! Lol. Before I end this post, which is probably going to be my last post about these awesome people! Here's what I think about each of them. Aiman, Effy, Mad, Yan, Ezul - This group of friends seems like they are alwaaaays having fun. At the same time each of them has this serious side that makes me feel uncomfortable since im used to their fun side. Bella, Shu, Syima, Tiah, Rushda, Lin - So awkward with them at first cs im never used to talk to girls who are older than me. But since they allow me to not call them "kak" (hehe) it's pretty easy to get along with them. Syazwan, Alia - They prove that I'm not aware of what's happening in the team. Found out that they're together from a friend, lol. But theyre cool. Syahir, Elisa - Both of them are my age but the three of us are very different, in a good way though. It's pretty fun to get to know them. Dayah, Sofy, Syira, Fateh, AJ - It feels like Dayah's the oldest instead of Sofy most of the time. Maybe cs she's more serious than the rest of us. Sofy is the sweet one while Syira is the wisest, trust me. At first, I think Fateh is sooooo weirddddddd. But now he's quite active talking with us especially Cha (muehehe). AJ is obviously the smart one among all of us but she always look like she's thinking about smtg. Cha, Marsya - These two are close but one is calm and the other is actually quite hyper. But not as hyper as I am, I guess. Always getting more input on general knowledge when it comes to these two. Zaidi, Haziq - Like Cha & Marsya, these two are also very different. One is talkative and the other only talks when he needs to. The end. I will still see a few of you at the faculty for the next few semesters but to the rest, I pray that you'll pass your papers at the end of this semester and to graduate! May our friendship last forever. Love, The youngest in the team, Izza Qstna |
