6/17/2017 0 Comments I'm back!I've been gone for soooo long that I almost forgot the existence of this blog! I remember starting this as a diary meant to be shared with anyone who cares to read this blog, but I guess I've been busy making myself busy (if that make sense) to remember posting anything here, hehe. So I recently met up with my friends & it was fun. The last time we saw each other was quite some time ago, maybe about 2 or 3 months back? I'm really glad that we all understand the beauty of our friendship is we can go on not talking for months but the moment we see each other, we're like... not awkward? Haha. Like in all seriousness, there's not even an inch of the awkwardness vibe. As usual, not everyone could make it and it'll be more fun if everyone was around. But I'm pretty sure this raya there's a higher possibility we could hang out with one another.
P/s: The night we hung out was the night I realized I'm an old person in the inside. It was 10PM when I started yawning like crazy. I reached back home around midnight and I had the worst headache the next day after, for not sleeping early enough, lol.

12/24/2016 0 Comments JAPAN TRIP! Part 2Day 5
I'm back with the 2nd part of my Japan Trip! (As you can tell by the title) (Way to go in making things obvious izza). Anyway after the long bus ride; which I slept throughout the entire journey, we arrived at Kyoto Station. It's an enormous place, if your sense of direction is as poor as mine, you'll get lost. But thank god Alia was around. We kept our huge luggages in the lockers. Most lockers charged you around 500 to 700 yen depending on the size of the bags you're keeping with no time limit. We tour around the famous Bamboo Forest. I've no idea why but all the pictures turned out dull and disappointing. It's not as breathtaking as the other pictures I saw on random people's instagram. We then rented bicycles and mine happens to be the cutest bicycle ever. I love the basket that came with it and the tone of blue of the bicycle is one of my favorite colors! Anyway, we cycled around this park and it's filled with deers. They were honestly quite scary because they were freely wandering around and some even did a live show of them pooping, haha. Oh and we had the best mochi so far! Plus point for the simple yet attractive decoration by putting a sweet strawberry on top. 12/11/2016 0 Comments JAPAN TRIP! Part 1Don't blog when you're feeling blank and uninspired because you might ended up writing a boring post. Like what I'm doing right now. But I'm forcing myself because it's been wayyy too long since I came back from Japan and not write about it. A part of my memories during this recent trip is still in my mind so I might as well share it before it fades away. Anyway, on 30th of October around 2.30PM, we departed from KLIA. My sister and a friend of mine, Alia, were with me. We flew there by a Japanese airline (ANA) and we were the first batch of passenger to ride their newly bought or leased plane. I found out about it because there were having this mini launch/ mini party, whatever you call it at the gate before we departed. We were served with free Malaysian food and we were able try out the colorful kimono for free too. We were also given a goodie bag with a mini replica of the plane. Fast forward to 8 hours later we arrived at Haneda Airport. Day 1 We alighted at Otemachi Station and walked around The East Garden of Emperial. There's a lot of fascinating attractions to visit around there and the walk from one place to another will blow your mind! Just kidding, I'm exaggerating but looking at the surrounding of another country is really nice. Here in Malaysia, it's really rare to see a Malaysian getting involved in a construction site but in Japan and a few other countries I've been, the locals, sometimes even the girls help out in the construction. I would to if our country's temperature is slightly colder. Like between 12 - 16 degree celcius.
After visiting those places, we're back in our train ride to Akihabara! Attached to this station is a mall; each floor is worth visiting because they sell a wide range of different watches, cameras, lenses, toys, gadgets. You name it, it's all here. If you go to Japan for this specific purpose: to buy electronic stuff, this place is highly recommended. We walked to an anime gallery after exiting the mall because my sister is a huge fan of anime related stuff. Unfortunately, it was closed. I felt bad for her but it changed after we found a row of shops selling all of her favorite anime character. Alia and I on the other hand was just following her around the shops; looking lost and uninterested, haha. Our next destination is the famous Shibuya Crossing but since I suck at taking pictures and I couldn't find a good angle, there's no clear picture of the crossing. And we found the shop Lush and splurged a bit there. But honestly ladies, if you're a fan of the Lush products and at the same time or at any time, you or your friends' going to Japan; buy the products here because it is way cheaper than the prices that the Malaysian online shops sell. 10/16/2016 0 Comments Retrieving the memoriesAbsolutely regretting not starting this blog earlier because I realized a blog full of positivity and memories are great in a long term run. Years from now, I could scroll back my blog, read the posts on what I did while having some sort of flashback in my mind, looking back at the pictures and wishing I could re-do or undo some stuff, haha. Or maybe, you know, be disappointed at the quality and how 'senget' the pictures turned out.
But there's no harm done blogging on some of my memories. Fun fact; There's 3 stages of memories in term of psychology. And I'm about to go through the last stage which is retrieval. Retrieval is the ability to access information from the storage of my memories whenever I need it. (One) Graduating from school 2013 On the day of Aidilfitri, my family and I went to Singapore! We drove there, because, why not, haha. It took us around 4-5 hours to reach our hotel in S'pore. We unpacked and went for lunch. Did some chocolate shopping at Mustaffa Shopping Centre (If I'm not mistaken) and walked around. We visited that aquarium place next to Universal Studios on the next day. The aquarium was huge, very detailed and colorful (referring to all the colorful fish and jellyfish btw). It was a short trip there just to break the normal routine we always do during every raya. We went back home the next day.
Hey guys! I'm back with another post which should be posted around one month ago. Yeap, I got waaaaay too busy with results and Raya to edit this. (Speaking about raya, that should be posted around 1 week ago too.)
Okay, so anyway, my friends(Zaidi, 22, Cha, 21 & Elisa, 20) and I went to Australia for 12 days during winter. The temperature was not that cold (around 7-10 degree Celcious in Melbourne and 10 - 14 degree Celcious in Sydney), but it was veryyy windy, which made it felt like it's colder. We started our journey at 10.30PM, 12th June 2016 and we reached Melbourne on the next day, in the morning. 1ST DAY (The day we arrived in Melbourne) Using the bus, train and tram, we went straight to Malaysian Hall, the place where we'll be staying, to drop our luggage as our check in time was around 3PM. Then, we took the tram to our first destination of the day, Shrine of Remembrance, a place where you walk around as it's huge and garden-like while learning some history. Next, we walked to the Botanical Garden, which of course, is a garden but filled with information on flowers and various type of other plants. |
